Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep and the world diving record
The first Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep model was launched in 2019 to support and collaborate with the marine expedition of the adventurous pilot Victor Vescovo: the first person to reach the bottom of the four deepest points in the world. This watch was tested in the depths of the ocean, reaching 10,935 metres in the Mariana Trench.
Following this world-record dive, the revolutionary watch has been adapted with the times, giving rise to a unique collection.

A certified watch for extreme conditions
The Ultra Deep complies with ISO 6425:2018 which is subject to the standards required of diver's watches for saturation diving. For this purpose, stringent tests are carried out covering aspects such as visibility in low light conditions, resistance to magnetism and shock, adaptation to temperature changes, exposure to salt spray or water resistance, among others.
The METAS certification guarantees that the watch meets all the requirements.
