IWC Schaffhausen represents the application of engineering to watchmaking at its highest expression. The firm created by Florentine Ariosto Jones in 1868 has always been characterized by making functional watches with ingenious mechanical solutions, typical of the unusual geographical location of the manufacture in Schaffhausen. A century and a half of experience that finds its most genuine expression in its aviator watches and currently concentrates in-house movements with the latest generation materials such as Ceratanium.
