The Omega Moonwatch Professional is an iconic symbol of space exploration. Due to its involvement in the Apollo missions, especially the moon landing in 1969, it became a testament to endurance and precision in extreme conditions.

Its movement, the calibre 3861, is the first Co-Axial Master Chronometer in a Moonwatch and significantly improves its power reserve, precision and resistance to magnetism (reaching 15,000 gauss).

The Influence of Space on the Design of the Omega Moonwatch
For the design of the Omega Moonwatch Professional, the brand drew inspiration from the style of the 4th generation Moonwatch, which was taken to the Moon by the Apollo 11 astronauts in 1969.
Paying tribute to the space era, this watch features iconic elements such as the classic asymmetrical case, the bevelled dial, the double bezel on the back of the case and the iconic dot over 90 (known as DON or “Dot over Ninety”), as well as a diagonal dot at 70 on the anodised aluminium bezel ring.
